Caroline Haslett Primary School Minibus Stolen in Milton Keynes
On Saturday, 16th November, the Caroline Haslett Primary School minibus was stolen from the school premises. The theft occurred between 4 pm and 5 pm.
The minibus has been a vital resource, used to transport children to a range of educational, extracurricular, and sporting activities. Its loss will cause significant disruption and create unforeseen financial strain for the school.
This was not an opportunistic act; CCTV footage shows the thieves came equipped with cutting and drilling tools to execute the theft. Tragically, on the afternoon of Monday, 18th November, the minibus was discovered completely stripped and burnt out, beyond any possibility of recovery.
Although the vehicle was insured, the payout is expected to fall short of covering the cost of a new minibus. The school is now appealing to the Milton Keynes community for support. They are asking for donations of any amount to help bridge the funding gap. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference.
For those who wish to assist, please visit the school’s GoFundMe page to donate.
