Harry's Rainbow Appeals for Return of Stolen Equipment Following Charity Event in Milton Keynes

Harry's Rainbow, a Milton Keynes-based charity, is urgently appealing to the public following the theft of £8,000 worth of equipment.

The items, hired from Wolverton and Greenleys Town Council for a colour run, were stolen in a well-coordinated theft captured on CCTV.

Despite efforts to reclaim the items through insurance, the charity faces the harsh reality of non-recovery due to policy constraints.

The stolen equipment includes a double axle trailer, 8 metal market stalls, 20 plastic chairs, 30 rolls of barrier netting, and 110 metal stakes. The loss has not only impacted the charity's operational abilities but has also deeply affected the morale of its dedicated volunteers.

Harry's Rainbow is now reaching out for community support to replace the stolen items, either through donations of new or secondhand equipment or financial contributions to cover replacement costs. This support is crucial as the charity strives to continue its mission of supporting bereaved children within the community.
