The Point is delighted to announce that we are launching a brand new networking event for Milton Keynes, Let’s Meet MK.

Networking is back at Marco’s Holiday Inn Central Milton Keynes with former MKFM CEO, Darren Dorrington and Nicholas Mann, MD of Connection Communications and Chair of MKBLP.

Marco’s at the Holiday Inn in central Milton Keynes was once the home of one of the biggest networking events in MK, with between 100 and 150 businesses taking part every month. Now, in a new collaboration, networking is coming back to the venue with a brand-new event for Milton Keynes: Let’s Meet MK.

This collaboration is supported by The Point Radio and Connection Communications.

Let’s Meet MK aims to create a vibrant space where local business owners can share ideas, forge partnerships, and expand their networks.

This new monthly event will launch on the first Wednesday in October (2nd) and will feature:

• Opportunities to showcase local businesses: Meet potential clients and collaborators.
• Engaging talks and workshops: Learn from experienced business leaders and experts.
• A supportive community environment: Be part of a network that encourages growth and innovation.

The Point Radio CEO, Darren Dorrington, shared his enthusiasm, saying: "When I launched MKFM's The Meet of MK in 2016, I had no idea that our small event would turn into one of Milton Keynes' most successful monthly events. During the last few months, we have been planning how to further improve the networking scene and have a number of exciting plans to put into action over the coming months."

Nicholas Mann commented, saying, “Milton Keynes is the home of networking, yet since the pandemic, there have been fewer events, especially after work. We hope that this event will reinvigorate MK’s networking scene, creating a friendly, informal, and fertile environment for businesspeople to grow their enterprises.”
