Milton Keynes City Council to host Adoption Information Session
Milton Keynes City Council, in collaboration with Central Bedfordshire Council, is set to host an informative adoption event on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.
The session will run from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Priory House, Chicksands, and is designed to provide a thorough understanding of the adoption process.
Organized by Adoption Connects, the session will feature a detailed presentation covering the adoption journey, the children in need of adoption, and the comprehensive support available for adopters.
Prospective adopters will have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session, where they can ask questions and receive guidance from adoption professionals and experienced adopters.
The event aims to demystify the adoption process and encourage more individuals and families to consider providing a loving home to children in need.
Attendees will gain valuable insights into the steps involved in adoption, the criteria for prospective adopters, and the various forms of support, including financial aid, training, and post-adoption services.
Adoption Connects, a partnership between Milton Keynes and Central Bedfordshire Councils, has a strong commitment to finding permanent, loving families for children who are unable to remain with their birth families.
This information session is part of their ongoing efforts to raise awareness and provide support to those interested in adoption.
Those interested in attending the session are encouraged to register in advance. This event offers a unique chance to learn more about the rewarding experience of adoption and to meet others who share an interest in providing a stable and nurturing home for children in need.
