Milton Keynes Radio Legend Mrs D Set to Run the London Marathon for Local Charity

Mrs D, who has been telling Milton Keynes what to have for tea for almost 10 years, is gearing up for an extraordinary challenge as she prepares to take on the London Marathon on Sunday, 27th April 2025—all in aid of a Milton Keynes charity close to her heart.

Now a familiar voice on 1055 The Point each weekday morning, Mrs D is set to take on the London Marathon in support of The Henry Allen Trust, a local charity dedicated to helping children and their families in the fight against childhood cancer.

Having faced a tough journey back to running after major surgery in 2021, Mrs D is now ready to return to the streets of the capital for one of the world's most iconic races.

The Henry Allen Trust was set up in memory of Henry Allen, with a mission to provide much-needed support, create lasting memories for families, and ensure Henry's legacy lives on. The charity works tirelessly to offer financial and emotional support to families navigating the challenges of childhood cancer.

Mrs D shared her thoughts on the upcoming challenge:

"It has been an enormous battle to get back to running after major surgery in 2021, but now I feel strong enough to attempt this incredible challenge once again.
