Police Investigation Continues After Violent Attack at Milton Keynes Bowl

Thames Valley Police are actively investigating a violent incident that took place at the Reggae Land Festival in Milton Keynes over the weekend.

A 28-year-old man remains in critical condition following the attack, prompting a significant police presence and appeals for witnesses.

The incident occurred on Saturday, 3rd August, around 10:45 p.m. at the Reggae Land Festival held at Milton Keynes Bowl. Emergency services were called to the scene after a man was found with serious injuries following an altercation. He was immediately transported to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Police have stated that the victim suffered severe injuries, and the circumstances surrounding the attack are still unclear. The festival, which attracted a large crowd of music enthusiasts, was temporarily halted as authorities conducted initial investigations.

Thames Valley Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to come forward. Detective Inspector Alice Bridger, who is leading the investigation, said, “We are appealing to anyone who may have seen the attack or has any mobile phone footage that could assist us in our investigation to get in touch immediately.”

Authorities believe that several people in the area may have seen the incident or recorded videos, which could be crucial in identifying those responsible for the attack.

In response to the incident, organisers of the Reggae Land Festival have announced increased security measures for future events. They are working closely with local authorities to ensure the safety and well-being of attendees.

A spokesperson for the festival said, “We are deeply saddened by the events of Saturday night. Our thoughts are with the victim and his family. We are fully cooperating with the police investigation and have implemented enhanced security protocols to prevent any further incidents.”
